Tell me, who is Sashen?
Sammmmm…let’s see. I’m self-driven, spontaneous, and a go-getter. I believe life is dynamic and you’ve gotta role with it. I enjoy recreational sports, you know like indoor soccer, fishing and range shooting. I do prefer spending time outdoors and bonding with my amazing family. Challenges motivate me, I hate quitting and I’d rather try and fail than fail to try. And that’s about it!
What’s your role at iKhokha?
I’m the Key Account Manager for Retail Capital. I’m focussed on growing and developing existing relationships with third party service providers as well as generating new business concepts by identifying, implementing and executing new strategies – all through card payment solutions.
Who is Sashen outside of iKhokha?
I’m a family man. I’m very relaxed and really chilled out.
What’s your biggest strength?
It’s definitely my ability to work under pressure. I am not afraid to take on any challenge coz I’m able to adapt and adjust easily.
Name of the last book you read?
Many Lives, Many Masters by Dr Brian Weiss.
Your advice to yourself on how to handle a stressful situation?
I’m not too much of a “stress-a-holic.” I usually try my best to understand the bigger picture and then I find a way to solve the problem. I tend to first help the team by organising our tasks so that we can complete it much quicker.
Describe iKhokha in one word.
If you were a crayon, what colour would you be?
Black! Like black, I am bold and strong. Black is an enhancer, without it, life would just be colouring outside the lines. Black is a balance.
